The Ramzi Theory was created by a a man named Dr. Saam Ramzi Ismail.
There was a study of 5,376 women that had ultrasounds starting at 6 weeks of pregnancy. During this study they found that 97.2% of male fetuses had placenta forming on the right and 97.5% of female fetuses had placenta forming on the left.
This study was not published and confirmed by other researchers. Due to this information this theory should only be used for fun on early pregnancy ultrasounds as there is not a lot of scientific information confirming that this theory holds true accuracy at predicting your baby’s gender.
After 4 years of using this method and watching gender updates come in I believe the accuracy for this theory is only about 50/60% accurate at most.
The Ramzi Theory can only be used if your ultrasound was taken in the transverse view. We can only know if your scan was not taken in this view if it states it on your ultrasound such as (SAG, SAG Uterus, Saggital) so when sending your ultrasound we use it as if it were taken in the transverse view unless stated otherwise.
This can also play a part in the accuracy as well.In the transverse view the right of your ultrasound is your left and the left of your ultrasound is your right no matter if taken transvaginal/abdominal contrary to popular belief.
The gestation for this theory is 6 weeks 0 days to 8 week 5 days. What we are looking for can change locations outside of times stated above causing the theory to be inaccurate to use.
Please take predictions using this theory purely for fun and know that your baby’s gender can be confirmed/predicted differently later on in your pregnancy.
Nub Theory is based on something that’s called the Genital Tubercle which is the real terminology for the Nub.
When using Nub Theory you look at the angle of the gender tubercle to help indicate the gender of your baby.
If nub is 30• degrees or above the gender of your baby is a boy.
If nub is below 30• degrees the gender of your baby is a girl.
You can use this theory starting as early as 12 weeks gestation. Sometimes the nub can been seen even well after 14 weeks gestation.
Some sites/groups say that you can use Nub Theory starting at 11 weeks but at this gestation most nubs appear pink and have not yet started to rise. Some can even appear boy at this gestation but because 11 weeks has a lowered accuracy for Nub Theory it can still change which is why we do not normally predict on nubs at this gestation.
During the early side of 12 weeks there is still time left for baby’s nub to develop into a boy and so sometimes later on you’ll find that even though your nub appeared pink it was confirmed boy later on as baby’s nub developed after your ultrasound was taken.
Unfortunately there is no real way to tell if and when your baby’s nub will rise which is why we state early girI sometimes. It’s not until about 12 weeks 6 days or onward that your baby’s nub has found its final resting spot.
I’ve attached a little template below to show you the difference between a girl/boy nub and a percentage chart.
These two images show the perfect representation of both male and female genitalia.
•Male Genitalia show in two parts and protrude down leg (Penis & Scrotum)
•Female Genitalia image in one part and do not protrude down leg (Labia & Clitoris)
Our team are able to accurately confirm your baby’s gender at 15 weeks and onward using your potty shot.
